Clients include most of the major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the U.S. and abroad as well as a wide variety of contract research organizations (CROs), site management organizations (SMOs), academic research organizations (AROs) and investigators. John has served as chairman, workshop leader and speaker at numerous international meetings on outsourcing and has served as a technical advisor to the National Institutes of Health on contracting research. He writes a quarterly column for the journal Global Outsourcing Review. John has authored more than 60 publications on drug development and is currently writing an ongoing series of articles, " Successful Outsourcing", for the journal Applied Clinical Trials. Prior to founding his consulting business in 1988, John was Vice President for World Wide Clinical Research at Schering-Plough Corporation and held clinical and preclinical positions with Bristol-Myers, William H. Rorer and the Squibb Institute for Medical Research. John earned A.B., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Rutgers University and recently was Clinical Assistant Professor at New York Medical College.
